Custom Window Treatments

Fabric Showplace offers you a wide selection of casual, contemporary, and traditional window treatments, cornices, valances, shades and shutters for kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms and guest areas. We also offer specialty wood and iron hardware, tiebacks, and trimmings to finish off any signature design you can imagine. Over the last 75 years, our experienced staff has designed, measured and installed thousands of window treatments for discerning New Englanders.
 
Whether it’s hard or soft treatment, an Austrian, Balloon or Roman Shade, Fabric Showplace can fabricate them all. We also offer the complete lines of Hunter Douglas and Kirsch drapery products. We design & manufacture your window treatments from our own workrooms right here in metro Boston.

From the moment we pick up your furniture, you’ll know you’re in good hands. We’ll discuss every stitch, every little detail before your furniture ever reaches our craft person’s bench. We take the time to strip every piece right down to the frame, individually tie every spring and rebuild your seating with the best filling materials man and nature have to offer. Give us a call or stop by and ask about reupholstering, but  remember...feed the puppy before you leave the house.

 
Custom Made Slipcovers
 
Don’t move an inch. We come right to your home; cut and pin fit a custom slipcover right before your eyes. It’s fascinating to watch! Similar to a fine tailor making a custom suit. The pinned cover is brought back to our shop, sewn, then delivered to your home and installed. The secret is selecting the right weight fabric for the desired style. All loose cushions include zippered removable covers.

Custom Made Cushion Covers & Fillers
 
Whether you desire a new fabric cover, just new stuffing...or both, we can assist you in selecting the perfect fabric, tailoring treatment and cushion filler to comfort you. We’ll share the seating secrets on how to keep your cushions from sliding without any fasteners or Velcro. Now, you’ll be able to double the life of your cushions, use both sides and...wash or dry-clean them.
